In the current age of Knowledge economy, productive interface between academia and industry is a critical requirement. Industry Interface could be defined as interactive and collaborative arrangement between academic institutions and business corporations for the achievement of certain mutually inclusive goals and objectives. Traditionally, schools are looking for placements and internships for their students and the industry for fresh recruits who are well trained and equipped with the right KSA (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) to be able to contribute to organization’s growth.

Industry Interface is perhaps the most critical differentiator for engineering college and ACNCEMS gives due recognition to this fact. We conduct our training sessions closely as per industry requirement to enhance the course curriculum of B.Tech programmes. Students pay regular visits to industrial complex to help translate learning into practical knowledge. Over and above the conventional methods of developing corporate interface like guest lectures and industrial visits, the college establishes a firm foundation for corporate interface through innovative practices. These include joint research project taken up with industry, field studies undertaken by our faculty with involvement of students and analyzing some live cases.

ACNCEMS corporate communication department monitor industry interaction at all levels and is responsible to enter into alliances with different corporate houses and industry sectors. One such initiatives is of SOAR developed in collaboration companies like Honeywell, Safran Aerospace, Datamatics Vista Info systems, Si2 Microsystems, Quest Global, Avembsys Technologies and other Fortune 500 companies.

Cost saving although has become a buzzword in current economic scenario, but it has always been a key agenda for business organization. SOAR programme is based on distinctive business model: “partnership for talents: deploy them trained, save cost”. This model starts with end-to-end understanding of client company business processes, quality standards and tools & technologies. We then train our students exactly as per clients’ requirements and call this customized training. We deploy these trained resources to our partner companies so that they deliver right from day one and company’s save huge cost on fresher training.
